Refocusing an Experience Around its Roots

In 2013 the UX/UI of StarCraft 2 was in an awkward place. The design aesthetic had become fragmented, and there were many social and data-oriented features that the community had been asking for that had not yet been included. And as a result, I decided to sit down and try to redesign the user experience to focus on a tight set of visual ideas, and deliver many of the features the community was asking for.
